Please join us for this ONE Social Event together with the Impact Scholar Community (ISC). In line with the ISC’s mission to connect research and real-world impact, we will meet with and be guided by local environmental non-profit, Friends of the Chicago River.
Staff from Friends of the Chicago River will take us for a guided 45-minute walk from the conference venue, along the river, to their historic bridge-house museum. Along the way, we will have a collaborative discussion with Friends of the Chicago River on how management research and insights might address some of their business challenges. We will finish with a pizza social and opportunity to socialize and enjoy the beautiful history and nature of the area in the organization’s own museum.
Registration is limited to 50 participants and will be first-come, first-serve, with a sign-up sheet in the lobby of the Downtown Marriott before we head out on our walk. Sign-ups will start at 2:30pm.
This event is sponsored by the ONE division and Brock University. For any questions, please reach out to Cat Summers (email catowsik@umich.edu).
