Research and teaching endeavors in operations and supply chain management have long considered various innovation related issues ranging from process innovation, product innovation, and supply chain innovation. Emerging technologies are transforming business models, and it can be argued that innovation in operations and supply chain management is at the forefront of this transformation. In this plenary session leading professionals in the field will provide insights into what they see the future of process and supply chain innovation looks like in the manufacturing and services sectors. The session will include short presentations followed by a panel discussion on various pertinent issues.
